Although it’s been suggested to me, I hesitate to make a book out of blog posts because once a book is published, the content becomes static.
I prefer to keep the blog dynamic, piling posts higher and deeper and retaining the ability to update posts, either to correct errors or to keep up with changes in OpenSees.
Besides, there’s not enough technical background in the posts to use the blog as a textbook. But some posts are effective supplements to textbooks and other course materials. And you can build a syllabus around blog posts.
Let’s call the blog a living document.
If you know of any posts that have errors or that should be updated, get in touch.
